The seal- und guidance system of the casting cylinder was fitted especially to the super finished surfaces on piston rod and cylinder tube. Only plastic compound materials are being used ensuring minimal wear and stick-slip-free movement.

To increase the operational safety of the casting cylinder, the externally adjustable seal system EVD can be integrated into the cylinder head in addition to the V-packing set. When leaking occurs in the main seal, the EVD is activated by remote control so that the casting cylinder can continue to be operated without fault.
